Dr. Bernie Linke  DDS, MSD, FRCD(C)

Dr. Linke obtained his Bachelor of Science degree and Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Alberta.  He graduated in 1978 and was awarded the Alberta Dental Association Gold Medal for achieving the highest grades in his graduating dental class.

After practicing general dentistry for three years in Edmonton, he entered the unique MSD and periodontal prosthetic program at the University of Washington in Seattle which provided periodontal surgery exposure in addition to the prosthodontic specialty training.  Since graduating in 1983 as a Specialist in Fixed Prosthodontics with a Masters of Science in Dentistry degree, he has enjoyed private practice as a specialist in Prosthodontics.

Dr. Linke is a Past-President of the Alberta Association of Prosthodontists as well as the Canadian Academy of Restorative Dentistry and Prosthodontics and has been the Scientific Chairperson for several national dental programs.  He is also a Fellow of the International College of Dentists.  Along with his ongoing continuing education he feels a responsibility to further the knowledge of dental students and dentists.  As such, he is a published author and lecturer.   He is a Clinical Associate Professor and the Head of the Division of Restorative Dentistry at the University of Alberta Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry.
